At Annual Meeting on January 27, 2013, St. Paul’s launched a Capital Campaign, to help support the physical, financial, and mission needs of the parish for our next sixty years. With input and support from the Capital Campaign, Long-Range Planning, Property, Finance, and Outreach committees, the vestry approved a three-year campaign with goals of 100% parish participation and $450,000 in funds raised. The launch presentation may be viewed here.
The campaign covers many property projects, both large and small, along with debt reduction and local and global outreach. Key projects within the campaign include:
- Replacing the roofs over the sanctuary and classrooms
- Substantially reducing our debt load to help us achieve consistent balanced budgets
- Replacing and repairing the floor in the parish hall
- Supporting mission work both within our parish and beyond, including the Diocese’s Together Now Campaign
- Surfacing and re-lining our parking lot
Ingathering for this campaign will be Sunday, March 17. If you need a pledge card, or have any questions about the campaign, please feel free to contact any member of the Capital Campaign Committee: Betsey Anderson, Karin Baker, Paul Ciaccia, Suzanne Johnson, Emily Mitchell, John Mitchell, Sue Runkle, Jim Seaton, and Chris Wendell.
